So the little guy's school project that was dumped on us at the last minute is to gather seeds for school. Magnolia trees have seeds ... got it! And the shot a few buds. They are so pretty when they are just opened. Too bad I didn't have a 10 foot ladder to get their pictures.
Being from Mississippi, I have a special place for Magnolias. There is a house a couple of miles from here with a big tree in their front yard. I have thought about stopping several times but never have. This is a pretty shot.
