Our neighbors were on a mission trip to Haiti and we realized they would have no one to welcome them home this year! So we made them signs ... well I drew the outlines and Riley colored them in. He did such a great job!! Welcome home neighbors!!! We missed you!

Three years ago on this day I met a guy that I thought could use a friend ... little did I know that he was the absolute sweetest guy I had ever met in my life. He did need a friend ... and now I am proud to say he is my best friend. And in five days will be my partner in the rest of this life ... I love you Sweet Man. So the trend begins ... iphone pics!! I was actually around for the sun rising this morning and it was so pretty. Could have done without the power lines and poles but I didn't think the police man coming down the road behind me would be too happy to see me crossing the 4 lane road with my phone in the air just to miss them. Then I found an app ... not the best interpretation but an attempt.

I would show you a picture of the rest of the cake ... but he was eaten and enjoyed by the crew at work. And this was the beginning of the blackberry down fall of mine. So the pictures I had taken from my phone for a couple of days ... gone! May they rest in peace!

This was a busy day. The Channelview/Sheldon Metro Go Texan Committee that I am on hosted a fish fry today to raise money for our local school kiddos. We happen to get there a little early and I found a few things to take some pictures of before the day got too far underway. This was such an interesting bloom on a weed!

Then I saw this guy!

He was telling me to go away because I was messing up his fishing!

So I left him alone and started walking back to the covered area ... HOT day! Do you ever just watch the ground while you walk and see what is there? I did .. wonder what happened when this top was pitched?

Then I found these ... awe!

And since the next few days are a blur ... I tried to make up for a few days with no shots.
